Frenetic_Disk1 came out in 1991 for the Amiga, developed by Core Design Ltd. It was one of many shoot 'em ups on the platform at the time, but it stood out for its clean visuals and straightforward approach. You could easily jump into it without much fuss, which was nice in an era full of complex games.

You pilot a small ship through vertically scrolling levels, shooting down waves of enemies and dodging their fire. The main goal is to survive all eight stages, each ending with a unique boss fight. You collect power-ups to upgrade your weapons, like switching to lasers or missiles, and can temporarily activate shields for protection. The game supports two-player co-op, which makes the frantic action a bit more manageable. It moves at a brisk pace and can get quite difficult, especially in later levels. Playing it feels like a constant test of reflexes and precision.
