Valhalla & The Fortress of Eve_Disk4 is one of those classic Amiga RPGs that feels like stumbling into a weird, wonderful fever dream. You start off picking from a handful of Norse mythology-inspired characters—I went with the berserker because, well, smashing things seemed fun—and then you're dumped into this surreal world full of cryptic puzzles and turn-based battles.
The graphics have that unmistakable late-80s Amiga charm: chunky sprites, vibrant colors, and some genuinely bizarre enemy designs. Combat’s simple but satisfying, though half the time I had no idea if I was making progress or just wandering in circles. The whole thing has this odd, dreamlike vibe that makes it stick in your head long after you’ve turned it off.
If you’re into retro RPGs with personality, this one’s a trip worth taking.
