Game Overview
Okay, so this is basically a pocket-sized Bond movie for the GBA, and it’s way more fun than it has any right to be. You get Pierce Brosnan’s smirking face and voice (which, let’s be honest, is half the appeal), plus Willem Dafoe chewing scenery as the villain—somehow crammed into this little cartridge. The camera sits behind Bond as you sneak, shoot, and occasionally drive through levels that feel like condensed action scenes. The controls take a second to click, but once they do, you’re flipping over railings and popping headshots like it’s GoldenEye’s scrappy little cousin. Just don’t expect the graphics to blow you away—this is still the GBA we’re talking about.
Fun detail: The hacking minigame actually makes you feel like a spy instead of just pressing X to win. I lost like three missions because I kept messing up the timing.
