Play 007 Shitou - The Duel (Japan) Online
You creep through blocky enemy bases with a sluggish pistol, rescuing hostages and planting bombs before sprinting away from the explosion. It’s janky, barebones Bond action—no frills, just ‘90s arcade shooting.

007 Shitou - The Duel is one of those early '90s Bond games that feels like a weird, stripped-down take on the secret agent fantasy. You get a pistol, some stiff animations, and a handful of enemy bases to blast through—no fancy gadgets or one-liners here. The goal in each level is simple: shoot your way in, rescue the hostages (who are all women, because of course they are), plant a bomb in the right spot, and bail before everything explodes.
It’s got that classic arcade-style simplicity—run, gun, repeat—but don’t expect much depth. The controls are a little clunky, and the level layouts aren’t exactly memorable. Still, there’s something oddly satisfying about the straightforward chaos of it all, especially if you’re into retro action games that don’t overcomplicate things.
The PAL box art hypes it up with the usual "fast and furious action" talk, but honestly, it’s more of a curiosity than a must-play. If you’re a Bond completist or just love digging into obscure Genesis titles, it might be worth a look. Otherwise, you’re not missing much.
