Game Overview
Ever wanted to take two classic Spider-Man games on the go without juggling cartridges? This GBA combo packs both the original Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 into one neat little package. The first game nails that comic book feel—punching through goons, dodging Green Goblin’s pumpkin bombs, all with that chunky GBA charm. Then there’s Spider-Man 2, which tries its best to give you a taste of open-world swinging (as much as the tiny screen allows).
It’s not perfect—some of the textures are rough by today’s standards, and the camera can get weird when you’re wall-crawling—but there’s something satisfying about how quick and responsive the controls are. Plus, the fact that you can switch between games without digging through your backpack is a nice touch. If you’ve got a soft spot for early 2000s Spidey or just want some straightforward superhero action, this double feature still holds up.
