2 In 1 - SpongeBob Squarepants - Supersponge & Rugrats - Go Wild (E) is one of those GBA cartridges that feels like two completely different games slapped together. You start with SpongeBob running around Bikini Bottom, bouncing on jellyfish and collecting shiny things, which is fine if you just want something simple and colorful. Then you switch to the Rugrats half, where it's more about exploring and solving little puzzles with the babies. The shift in tone is jarring, but not necessarily bad.

I remember getting stuck in the Rugrats section because I couldn't figure out how to progress past a certain point—turns out you have to backtrack and talk to a character you'd already met. The SpongeBob side is more straightforward, just platforming and collecting, but the controls feel a little stiff. It's not amazing, but if you're a fan of either show, there's some nostalgia here.

Both games are short, and neither does anything groundbreaking, but they capture the cartoon energy well enough. 2 In 1 - SpongeBob Squarepants - Supersponge & Rugrats - Go Wild (E) is the kind of thing you'd play on a long car ride when you were a kid and not think too hard about.
