Play 3D World Boxing Amiga Online
1992 Amiga boxing game. Features single matches and championship mode. Fighters have Power, Defense, Punishment stats. Includes ring movement, head-locks, round scoring.

I remember picking up 3D World Boxing on the Amiga back in 1992, developed by Simulmondo s.r.l. It was one of those early attempts at bringing a more realistic boxing simulation to home computers, arriving at a time when the platform was full of ambitious, if sometimes flawed, experiments. It didn't have the flash of some arcade ports, but it aimed for a methodical, strategic take on the sport.
You control a boxer from a third-person perspective, maneuvering around the ring with the joystick, trying to land punches while avoiding your opponent's attacks. The main goal is to win matches, either in single bouts or by climbing the ranks in a championship mode. Key mechanics include managing your fighter's stamina, positioning yourself to throw effective jabs and hooks, and working the referee's scoring system by landing clean hits. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, demanding patience and timing over button mashing. It feels like a thoughtful, sometimes clunky, chess match where every punch matters.
