Download 4D Sports Driving_Disk2 ROM – Amiga Game
Arcade-style racing game with AI opponents and time trials. Features responsive controls, winding tracks, and possible unlockable content. Released for Amiga in 1992.
4D Sports Driving on the Amiga is one of those weird, early '90s racing games that feels like it was designed by someone who'd only heard about cars secondhand. You control this floating disk—basically a glorified hockey puck—and try to knock other disks off the track while racing through abstract, neon-lit courses. The physics are janky in that charming retro way, and the whole thing has this surreal, almost Tron-like vibe.
At first, I thought it was broken—why is my car a disc? Why does bouncing off walls at weird angles sometimes make you go faster? But after a few races, it clicks into this oddly satisfying mix of bumper cars and futuristic racing. The Amiga's sound chip does most of the heavy lifting, with screechy engine noises that sound like a fax machine having a meltdown.
It’s definitely not polished by today’s standards, but there’s something hypnotic about how bizarre it is. You’ll either love it or eject the disk after five minutes.
