Play ABZoo Online
ABZoo is a 1989 Amiga educational game teaching animal names from A to Z through typing. Features three difficulty levels, text-to-speech pronunciation, and an interactive animal encyclopedia. Players progress from letter recognition to timed spelling challenges.

Game Overview
ABZoo is one of those charmingly simple Amiga games that somehow sticks with you. At first glance, it’s just about animals and the alphabet, but there’s something oddly satisfying about hearing the computer’s robotic voice announce "A is for Aardvark" while a pixelated version stares back at you.
The beginner level eases you in—press any letter, and you’ll get an animal (though good luck guessing what starts with X). The advanced mode flips it: you see the animal and its name, but then have to type it from memory before time runs out. Mess up, and no full-screen close-up for you. Expert? Brutal. Just blanks where the letters should be, so you’re basically playing hangman with zoo creatures.
You can tweak things like uppercase vs. lowercase or switch between "funny" and "serious" animal sets—though I’m not entirely sure what makes an animal funny. Either way, it’s weirdly addictive for something so straightforward. Perfect for killing time or teaching kids without feeling like homework.
