Advance GT2 is one of those GBA racers that somehow slipped under the radar, but man, it’s good. The second you hit the gas, you feel it—the way your car actually responds when you take a turn too sharp, the way the screen blurs just enough at top speed to make your palms sweat. It’s got that perfect arcade feel where you don’t need a manual, just reflexes.

The tracks are simple but smart—no gimmicks, just clean curves and straightaways that test whether you can actually drive instead of just holding down the accelerator. I kept restarting the first cup over and over, convinced I could shave off another half-second. (Spoiler: I couldn’t.)
