Download Adventures In Math_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
Educational math game for K-2nd grade with 8 jungle-themed mini-games. Solve math problems to earn points while avoiding point-stealing spiders. Adjustable difficulty by grade level. Released in 1991 for Amiga.
Game Overview
Adventures in Math is one of those old-school Amiga games that makes learning math feel like an actual adventure—you're wandering through a jungle, dodging spiders (seriously, jump or lose points), and solving puzzles to hit your target score before time runs out.
You pick your grade level first, which changes up the challenges. Some are straightforward, like counting bats in a cave or matching coconut piles with Og the ape. Others get trickier, like arranging numbered boxes in order or figuring out which flower patch has exactly 17 blooms. The monkeys are everywhere—hanging from vines, lining up for hats, even crammed into canoes—and half the time you're just trying to keep track of how many there are.
It’s weirdly tense for an educational game. Miss a math problem or take a spider bite, and your score drops fast. But there’s something satisfying about finally getting the right sequence of numbers on that supply truck. If you grew up with this, it’s pure nostalgia; if not, it’s a charmingly janky way to practice basic math without feeling like homework.
