Play Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, The (Beta) Online

I picked up Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle on Game Boy back when it was new, a cartridge that never got a full release and just sort of existed as a beta. It was developed by Imagineering and published by THQ, one of those many licensed games that tried to capture a cartoon on the small screen. It fit right in with the era's handheld offerings, straightforward and a little rough, but with a clear identity tied to the source material.

You alternate control between Rocky and Bullwinkle, using Rocky’s floaty jumps to cross gaps and Bullwinkle’s stronger, slower movements to break obstacles. The goal is to stop Boris and Natasha by navigating through side scrolling stages filled with traps and enemy agents. You collect items like acorns and progress screen by screen, dealing with light platforming and simple enemy patterns. The pacing is uneven in places, and some sections feel clunky, but switching between characters keeps things interesting. It feels like playing a lost episode of the show, jank and all.
