Alien Hominid is that perfect mix of ridiculous and brutal—you play as a tiny yellow alien whose UFO gets swiped by the FBI, so naturally, your only option is to tear through every agent in your way. The art style is wild, all hand-drawn chaos with explosions that take up half the screen, and yeah, you can absolutely bite people’s heads off if you feel like it.
It plays like a faster, meaner Metal Slug—one hit kills you, so you’re constantly diving underground, hijacking tanks, or grabbing whatever weapon drops just to survive. The GBA version cuts a couple of the bigger bosses (RIP robot bee), but it’s still the same frantic, over-the-top shooter where half the fun is seeing how creatively you can wreck the FBI. Grenades, shotguns, even dragging enemies underground—it’s all gloriously excessive.
Other versions had this weird little PDA minigame and a level editor, but honestly? The core game is what makes it. Just a tiny alien causing maximum carnage.
