1992 Amiga RPG with turn-based combat, character progression, puzzles, and exploration. Features pixel art visuals and a chiptune soundtrack.

Game Overview
Amberstar for the Amiga is one of those old-school RPGs that feels like it’s been dug up from a time capsule—in the best way. You start off shipwrecked on a mysterious island, and within minutes, you’re knee-deep in turn-based battles and cryptic NPC dialogue. The pixel art has that chunky, colorful charm only early '90s games could pull off, and the soundtrack? Pure nostalgia.
What surprised me was how open it felt for its time. You can wander into towns, recruit weird little party members (some are way more useful than others), and even stumble into fights you’re definitely not ready for. The disk-swapping is a pain, sure, but that’s part of the retro experience. If you’ve got the patience for it, there’s a solid adventure here.
