Play Amegas Online
Amegas (1987, Amiga) is an action game based on Breakout. Players control a paddle to bounce a ball, destroying multi-hit blocks, avoiding instant-death skulls, and collecting manually activated power-ups. Some blocks spawn hazards or expand the playfield.

Game Overview
Amegas is one of those Amiga Breakout clones that actually does something interesting with the formula. Yeah, you're still sliding a paddle at the bottom while a ball bounces around destroying bricks, but there's some clever twists here.
The bricks aren't just sitting ducks—some take multiple hits (you'll see little dots showing how many are left), while others are downright nasty. Hit a skull-marked one and you lose a life. Accidentally smack the one with an X and suddenly new bricks start spreading like weeds. It keeps you on your toes.
What I really like is how power-ups work. Instead of activating immediately when you catch them, they bank until you decide to use them with a right mouse click. Saved my skin more than once when I could trigger a slow-motion ball or extra lives at just the right moment.
It's Arkanoid with just enough fresh ideas to feel distinct.
