Play Amidar Online
You're a little paint guy dodging bouncy enemies in a maze—trap them by finishing squares, then grab the fruit they drop before they wake up angry. Starts chill, then suddenly you're sweating.

Amidar is a 1981 arcade game by Konami, playable today through MAME emulation. It arrived during the golden age of maze games, a straightforward but clever take on the genre that didn't rely on power pellets or elaborate mazes. The screen is a simple grid of squares, and your goal is to claim it all.
You control a small painter who moves along the grid lines. The main objective is to complete each rectangular section of the maze by tracing its entire perimeter. As you move, enemy roamers bounce around the screen; you are vulnerable to them unless you finish a square, which temporarily turns them into fruit you can collect for points. The pacing starts deceptively calm but quickly escalates as more enemies appear and their speed increases. It feels like a tense game of territorial control where one wrong move can end your run.
