Angel Collection 2: Pichimo ni Narou is one of those GBA games that feels like it was made specifically for lazy afternoons. You start by picking your character (I went with the pink-haired one, obviously) and immediately get thrown into this pastel world where tiny, round Pichimos follow you around like living plushies. The first thing you’ll do is probably dress them up—there’s something weirdly satisfying about putting a tiny hat on a creature that’s basically a sentient marshmallow.
It’s not just about fashion, though. The Pichimos have these little personalities, and the more you interact with them, the more they evolve. Mine started as a basic blob but eventually grew into this glittery winged thing after I fed it way too many cupcakes. There are mini-games too, like a rhythm dance-off that’s way harder than it should be, and a surprisingly deep wardrobe system where mixing patterns can go horribly wrong (or wonderfully right).
It’s Japan-only, so you’ll need a translation guide unless you’re cool with button-mashing through menus. But honestly? Half the charm is just vibing with the absurdly cute aesthetic. I still boot it up when I need a serotonin boost.
