Play Angry Birds Online
Yank back on that chunky 16-bit slingshot, watch pixel pigs squeal as their forts crumble in slow-motion chaos. That MIDI explosion sound when Bomb bird hits? Perfect.

I remember playing Angry Birds on the Sega Genesis, a port that came out much later, around 2010, developed by Rovio and published by Activision. It was a strange but interesting sight on the console, a modern mobile game squeezed onto a 16-bit cartridge, standing out among the platformers and shooters of the Genesis library.
You control a slingshot, aiming and launching a limited roster of birds to destroy structures and eliminate all the green pigs hiding inside. The main objective is to clear each stage by toppling the pigs' forts, using the unique ability of each bird type, like the Bomb bird that explodes on impact or the Blue bird that splits into three. The game progresses screen by screen, with the physics-based destruction creating a satisfying chain reaction of collapsing blocks and flying debris. The pacing is methodical, requiring careful aim and timing, and the difficulty ramps up as the structures become more complex and stable. It feels deeply satisfying to watch a perfectly aimed shot trigger a complete collapse.
