Play Arazmax Online
1992 Amiga action game with dual-stick combat, procedurally generated levels, weapon power-ups, and boss battles against robotic enemies in a futuristic city.
Arazmax came out for the Amiga in 1992, developed by The Light Circle and published by Discovery Software. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the platform, blending action with a sci-fi aesthetic that wasn't too common at the time. You could tell it was aiming for something a bit different, even if it didn't always break new ground.
You control a lone warrior navigating a futuristic city overrun by robotic enemies. Your main goal is to survive through procedurally generated levels, clearing screens of foes while hunting for weapon power-ups to increase your firepower. The combat uses a dual-stick style setup, letting you move independently from your shooting direction, which adds a layer of strategy during hectic fights. Each stage ends with a boss battle that tests your reflexes and upgrades. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike without warning, keeping you alert. Playing Arazmax feels like a constant scramble for survival, where every new room could either be a relief or a brutal challenge.
