This Amiga budget re-release of Assassin tweaks the original in some interesting ways. Your character ditches the boomerang for a laser arm cannon—way more satisfying when blasting through enemies. They trimmed one mission and shuffled around the level layouts, so even if you played the first game, there are some surprises here.
It still has that classic run-and-gun feel, just with slightly tighter pacing. The laser makes combat snappier, though I kinda miss the weird charm of hurling a boomerang at robots. A solid pick if you missed the original or just want a quicker playthrough.
