Play Ball Jacks (Japan, Europe) Online
Control a robotic crab, tug jacks to your side, and steal from your opponent in this fast-paced, competitive two-player game.
Ball Jacks came out for the Sega Genesis in 1993, developed by Namco. It was one of those oddball two player games that felt right at home on the system, a time when local multiplayer often meant something simple, competitive, and a little bit strange.
You control a robotic crab, either moving horizontally or vertically depending on your player slot. The goal is to pull all the jacks, or balls, from the center of the screen over to your side before your opponent does. You latch onto the balls with your claw, tugging them slowly across the grid; the real tension comes from stealing jacks directly from the other player's grip, leading to frantic back and forth struggles. The screen is small, the action is fast, and matches are usually over in a minute or two. It feels like a high pressure game of digital tug-of-war where every second counts.
