Game Overview

Ballistix is one of those weirdly addictive Amiga games where you’re basically playing physics-fueled air hockey with a twist. You control this little arrow that shoots smaller balls to nudge the main ball toward your opponent’s goal. Sounds simple, but gravity and friction make every shot feel unpredictable—sometimes the ball rolls just right, other times it veers off like it’s got a mind of its own.

Two-player mode is where it really shines, especially when you and a friend start figuring out ricochets and angles. The obstacles on some levels add just enough chaos to keep things interesting without feeling unfair. It’s the kind of game where you’ll yell at the screen one second and laugh the next.

Psygnosis nailed that perfect balance of skill and silly fun here.
