You control one of several characters, like Axel or Blaze, and you fight your way through waves of thugs across different city stages. The main goal is to clear each screen of enemies before moving on to the next, punching, kicking, and using special attacks that drain your health if you lean on them too much. Two mechanics that stand out are being able to run by double-tapping forward, which lets you perform dash attacks or quickly close gaps, and the ability to pick up weapons like pipes or knives dropped by enemies. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike pretty hard, especially when enemies gang up on you from both sides. It feels responsive and aggressive, like you're constantly pushing forward through the chaos.
