Barkley Shut Up and Jam! 2 is an unreleased beta for the Sega Genesis, developed by Accolade. It was meant to be a follow up to the original basketball themed action game, but it never saw an official cartridge release. The game exists only as a prototype, a curious piece of Sega history from the era when sports games often blended with other genres.

You control Charles Barkley through a series of side scrolling levels, fighting enemies with a basketball and performing special moves. The main goal is to progress through each stage, defeating bosses and overcoming environmental obstacles. Signature mechanics include using your ball as a projectile weapon and performing a powerful dunk attack to clear groups of foes. The pacing is fast and the difficulty is notably high, with aggressive enemies and precise platforming required. It feels chaotic and unpredictable, like a rough draft of a much stranger game.
