Game Overview
Barney’s Hide & Seek is one of those games that makes you go, "Yep, this was definitely made for toddlers." You play as the big purple dinosaur himself, wandering through four bright, simple levels to find kids hiding behind trees, inside houses, or just standing in plain sight (they’re not exactly master strategists). There are also presents scattered around—because, well, why not?
It’s a platformer, but don’t expect any tricky jumps or enemies. Barney can only hop when there’s a higher ledge to reach, and nothing can hurt him. The whole thing moves at a pace even a sleepy three-year-old could handle. If you’re looking for a challenge, this ain’t it—but if you’ve got a little kid who loves Barney, they’ll probably get a kick out of pointing at the screen and shouting, "There he is!"
Honestly, it’s kind of charming in its simplicity. Just don’t expect to play it for more than five minutes unless you’re the target audience.
