Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu came out on Game Boy Advance in 2003, published by Ubisoft. It was one of those side-scrolling beat 'em ups that felt right at home on the handheld, especially if you were into the animated series style. The game doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it gives you a solid Batman experience with some nice sprite work for the time.

You control Batman, or one of his allies like Robin or Nightwing, moving through levels screen by screen, beating up thugs with combos and gadgets. The main goal is to stop Sin Tzu, a new villain who's taken over parts of Gotham with his army. You fight through waves of enemies, avoid environmental hazards, and occasionally face off against familiar bosses like Scarecrow. The combat is straightforward but satisfying, with just enough variety in moves to keep it from getting too repetitive. It can get challenging in later stages, especially with some cheap hits from off-screen enemies. Playing it feels like a quick, action-packed trip through a comic book page.
