Battle B-Daman for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2006, published by Atlus. It was one of those mid-2000s tie-ins, based on the marble-shooting toy line and anime, that showed up on a system already crowded with action and strategy games. You don't hear much about it now, but it had its own little corner in the GBA library.

You control a B-Daman, a small robot that fires marbles, in one-on-one arena battles. The main goal is to deplete your opponent's health by hitting them with your shots or by destroying the crystal targets on the field. Key mechanics include angling your shots to ricochet off walls for trick hits, managing a limited supply of marbles each round, and choosing when to use a special attack that consumes more ammo. The pacing is methodical; you have to think about bank shots and ammo conservation rather than just firing wildly. It feels like a mix of pocket billiards and light tactical combat, which is a surprisingly engaging combination.
