Beavers_Disk3 came out on the Amiga in 1993 from Grandslam Video Ltd. It was a time when the platform was full of colorful, inventive platformers, and this one fit right in with its animal protagonist and bright, cartoonish style.
You control Jethro, a beaver on a mission to rescue his kidnapped wife from a gang of rabbits. You move through a series of side-scrolling levels, using a spin attack to defeat enemies and jumping across platforms made of leaves and clouds. The main goal is to find all the lost beaver children's hats in each stage before you can face the boss; these are often hidden, requiring some exploration or light puzzle solving. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can spike, especially during boss fights that occur every few levels. It feels like a straightforward, energetic quest where every jump and spin counts.
