Game Overview

Brad Zoom is this weird little Amiga shooter that feels like someone mashed Galaxians with a fever dream. You're stuck at the bottom of the screen, dodging alien swarms from the Purple Planet—some just hover menacingly, others break formation to divebomb you. The green-eyed ones drop power-ups if you nail them, which is handy because your default pea-shooter barely scratches the later waves.

What's cool is how it mixes things up: some levels throw asteroids at you (they split when shot, naturally), others pit you against a single massive boss. No continues, just one life—so yeah, you'll panic when that last alien decides to kamikaze straight into you. Surprisingly, you get bonus points just for surviving, so sometimes the smart move is to hang back instead of going guns blazing.

Oh, and good luck with the passcodes—75 levels means a lot of scribbled-down nonsense if you want to skip ahead. The whole thing's janky in that charming early-'90s way, like the aliens move just slightly faster than feels fair. Still, there's something satisfying about clearing a screen of those brain-munchers.
