Bionicle: Maze of Shadows came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Amaze Entertainment. You control the six Toa Metru, switching between them to use their specific elemental powers to progress. Vakama can melt ice barriers, Nuju can freeze water to create platforms, and so on. The main goal is to navigate a series of labyrinthine chambers, avoid environmental traps, and engage in turn-based combat against various Rahi beasts. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, as you constantly swap characters to solve elemental puzzles room by room. It feels like a thoughtful, slightly demanding crawl through a dark and intricate world built for problem solvers.
