Play Blade Warrior Amiga Online
1991 action game for Amiga. Recover seven tablet fragments guarded by wizards. Features combat, exploration, spell crafting, and trading. Silhouette art style.

Blade Warrior came out on the Amiga in 1991, published by Image Works and developed by Zeppelin Games. It was part of that wave of action-adventure titles that tried to blend exploration with combat, fitting right in with what many of us were playing at the time. The game didn't have the biggest budget or the most advanced graphics, but it had a distinct look and a clear goal that pulled you in.
You control a lone warrior tasked with gathering seven magic tablet pieces scattered across a large world. Movement is screen by screen; you walk into the edge of one area and the next loads, each filled with enemies, obstacles, and occasional friendly characters. Combat is straightforward, using your sword or a bow, and you can also collect spells or items to help you progress. The game can feel a bit slow and methodical, with some frustrating difficulty spikes, but there's a quiet satisfaction in mapping out the world and gradually piecing everything together. It feels like a thoughtful, sometimes stubborn, trek through a moody landscape.
