Game Overview

Bloodwych is one of those classic Amiga dungeon crawlers that feels like a mix between Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder—but with a twist. You start off in Trazere, a land where the mage order Bloodwych used to keep things peaceful… until Zendick, the second-in-command, goes rogue and starts summoning some seriously bad news. Your job? Stop him before everything goes to hell.

The coolest part? You can play it split-screen with a friend, each controlling a party of four characters. Picking your squad is half the fun—warriors, mages, thieves, adventurers, each with their own sub-classes (marked by colors, which actually matter when you start mixing spells). The first time I tried combining spells, I accidentally set half my party on fire. Lesson learned.

It’s all grid-based movement, flickering torches, and monsters jumping out at you from the dark. If you’ve ever gotten lost in a maze-like dungeon for an hour because you forgot to map it, you’ll feel right at home. Just don’t blame me when you realize you’ve been going in circles.
