Blue & The Gray is one of those classic Amiga war games that somehow makes moving tiny pixel soldiers across a map feel surprisingly intense. The second disk (because yes, it came on multiple floppies) adds more units and scenarios, so if you’ve already burned through the first one, this is where things get properly messy. I remember spending way too long trying to flank enemy lines with cavalry, only to realize too late that I’d left my artillery exposed. Classic blunder.
It’s not the prettiest or smoothest war sim out there, but there’s something weirdly addictive about it—like chess, but with more musket fire.
