Download Bob's Bad Day_Disk2 ROM – Amiga Game
Action puzzle game where players control a disembodied head through 100 levels, rotating environments to collect coins and avoid hazards. Features power-ups like gravity flip and thrusters, with later levels requiring coordination between head and body. Released in 1993 for Amiga.
Game Overview
Poor Bob’s having the worst day—his head popped right off his body, and now they’re scattered across 50 levels of rotating, gravity-defying chaos. You control the world, not Bob, tilting the landscape to roll his head (and later, his body) toward coins and exits while dodging spikes that’ll cost you everything if you’re broke.
The first few levels ease you in, but soon you’re threading through tight corridors, bouncing off walls, and hitting teleports that fling you across the map. Power-ups mix things up: gravity flips sideways, Bob suddenly sticks to surfaces unless you jump, or—my favorite—you get a little thrust to nudge him toward those impossible-to-reach coins.
Then at level 51, the real headache begins: Bob’s body shows up, and you’ve gotta wrangle both parts to the exit. The head’s your focus, but the body has its own weight and bounce, so moving one can send the other tumbling into danger. It’s equal parts clever and frustrating in the best way. The Amiga’s chunky pixels and bouncy physics make every slip feel like your fault, not the game’s.
Just don’t be surprised if you catch yourself tilting your own head while playing.
