Game Overview
Botics takes Pong and throws it into some weird sci-fi sports arena where you’re up against five different robot opponents. Each match plays out in these futuristic chambers—you’ve got a big gap on either side, and your job is to bounce the ball past the other bot’s defenses. Score, and you either move forward or backward through the five zones, depending on who got the point.
The twist? Every arena has these obstacles right in the middle, so you’re not just mindlessly slapping the ball back and forth. And here’s the fun part: you can charge up your bot for a super-powered return shot, but push it too far and—boom—your robot just explodes. It’s equal parts strategy and panic.
Honestly, it’s way more intense than regular Pong, especially when you’re scrambling to avoid blowing yourself up mid-match. The Amiga’s retro-futuristic vibe fits perfectly with the whole thing.
