Bubble Gun_Disk1 is one of those weird little Amiga games that somehow sticks with you. You control this little guy who shoots bubbles—not to pop them, but to trap enemies inside. Then you kick the bubbles to send them flying. It sounds simple, but the physics are oddly satisfying, especially when you chain a bunch of bubbles together and watch them bounce off walls.
The first level throws you right into it with these slow-moving blobs, but later enemies get trickier, forcing you to time your shots just right. The music’s got that classic Amiga charm—synthy and repetitive in the best way. I remember getting stuck on the third level for ages because I kept missing one last enemy hiding in a corner.
It’s not a deep game, but there’s something about the way the bubbles wobble and collide that makes it hard to put down.
