Post-apocalyptic Amiga strategy game (1993). Manage resources, explore wasteland, engage in turn-based combat against raiders and mutants. Features non-linear story and survival mechanics.

Burntime_DiskC came out for the Amiga in 1993, developed by Max Design. It was part of that wave of strategy and survival games that really pushed the platform's capabilities, offering a grim, resource-driven take on the post-apocalypse without the flash of some contemporaries. You don't see many games from that era that blend management and exploration so directly, and it had a quiet, serious presence on the shelf.
You control a small group of survivors, directing them across a hazardous, screen-by-screen wasteland map. Your main goal is to keep everyone alive by scavenging for food, water, and fuel while fending off attacks from raiders and mutants in turn-based combat. The game forces you to manage your supplies carefully; every movement costs resources, and running out means certain death. Exploration is non-linear, and you often have to choose between pressing forward for better loot or retreating to safer territory. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense, because one bad decision can unravel hours of progress. It feels like a constant, low-grade struggle against entropy, where every small victory matters.
