Burntime_DiskC for the Amiga is one of those weirdly addictive post-apocalyptic survival games that somehow makes scavenging for canned food feel tense. You start with a ragtag group of survivors in a desert wasteland, and every decision—whether to split up your party, risk exploring ruins, or hunker down—feels like it could backfire horribly. The pixel art has this grim charm, especially when your characters start starving and their portraits get all gaunt. Don’t expect hand-holding, though—half the fun is figuring out the brutal systems through trial and error (and a lot of reloading).
