Remember those ridiculous Butt Ugly Martians from the early 2000s? Their GBA game is way more fun than it has any right to be. You get to play as all three martians—Bo, Do, and Mo—zapping enemies with weapons like the Burp Gun (yes, really) while they crack terrible jokes. The battles feel like a chaotic mix of Pokémon and a Saturday morning cartoon fight scene.
The first time I played, I spent way too long just laughing at the attack animations—Mo’s "Stink Blossom" move is exactly what it sounds like. The pixel art somehow makes these ugly little aliens look charming, and the missions throw in just enough weird twists (like fighting evil space clowns) to keep you entertained. It’s not deep strategy, but nailing a combo with all three martians feels stupidly satisfying.
