The gameplay is methodical; you explore screen by screen, fighting monsters, finding keys, and solving simple environmental puzzles. Combat is direct, relying on timing your attacks and managing your limited magic points carefully. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be punishing, especially with the constant threat of falling into pits. It feels like a deliberate, hands-on crawl through a dangerous fantasy world.
