Play Charlotte's Web Online
Explore Zuckerman's farm as Wilbur the pig, solve puzzles, help Charlotte write messages, and sneak around as Templeton the rat in this laid-back adventure.
I picked up Charlotte's Web for the Game Boy Advance back in 2006, a time when licensed games were everywhere, and this one was developed by Atomic Planet Entertainment. It was based on the live-action film, not the book, which meant it had that mid-2000s movie tie-in vibe, the kind you'd find tucked between more ambitious titles on the shelf. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just offered a simple adventure set in Zuckerman's farm.
You control Wilbur the pig for most of the game, trotting through screen-by-screen environments like the barnyard and a cluttered junkyard, nudging objects and talking to other animals to solve light puzzles. The main goal is to help Charlotte write messages in her web to save Wilbur from slaughter, which involves completing tasks and gathering specific items. You occasionally switch to Templeton the rat for stealth sections where you avoid hazards or snatch things, and there are mini-games, like racing to collect letters or moving eggs without breaking them. The pacing is relaxed, never too demanding, though some tasks can feel repetitive if you're not in the right mood. It feels earnest and straightforward, like a quiet afternoon spent wandering a familiar place.
