Chase H.Q. II is basically the same high-speed cop chase as the original, but with a fun twist: you get to pick your ride. You’ve got three options—a zippy sports car, a rugged 4WD, or a hulking semi-truck. I went with the sports car first, thinking speed would be everything, but turns out it’s like hitting criminals with a feather. The truck? Absolute beast for ramming, but good luck catching anyone before time runs out.
Same deal as before: five stages, five felons to hunt down on the freeway. You’re racing against the clock, weaving through traffic, dodging barricades, and occasionally getting shot at by some overly committed goons. Oh, and there’s a helicopter that just loves dropping bombs on you—because why not? The turbo boosts help when you’re falling behind, but you only get three, so use ’em wisely.
It’s chaotic in the best way, and switching cars between stages keeps things interesting. Just don’t expect the semi to handle like a dream.
