Play Chiki Chiki Boys (Japan) Online
Team up as tiny elf brothers, slash through quirky enemies, collect power-ups, and rescue the princess in this colorful platformer.
Chiki Chiki Boys came out on the Sega Genesis in 1990, developed and published by Capcom. It was part of that early wave of platformers on the system, colorful and straightforward, without the cinematic ambitions some later titles would chase. You could play it alone or with a friend, which made it a solid choice for co-op after school.
You control one of two tiny elf brothers, each armed with a short sword, and your goal is to rescue the princess by clearing each screen of enemies before moving on. The combat is simple but responsive; you slash at oddball creatures like hopping mushrooms and bouncing eyeballs, and you can also find power-ups that change your weapon or increase your range. The levels are short and packed with enemies, so the pace stays quick, though some later stages demand careful timing. It feels cheerful and light, like playing through an animated storybook where every screen is a new surprise.
