Chu Chu Rocket! is one of those games that looks cute but will absolutely stress you out in the best way. You’ve got these little mouse things—ChuChus—scurrying around, and your job is to slap down arrow tiles to steer them toward rockets before the cat-like KapuKapus turn them into snacks. Sounds simple, right? Until you realize you’ve accidentally created a mouse death loop because you placed one arrow wrong.
The single-player puzzles start off easy, but by level 20, you’ll be staring at the screen like, “How is this even possible?” And if you’ve got friends with GBAs and link cables, the multiplayer is pure chaos—yelling, last-second tile placements, and that one friend who always seems to sabotage your perfect route. It’s got that classic Dreamcast energy crammed into a tiny cartridge, and somehow, it still holds up. Just don’t blame me when you get way too invested in saving virtual mice.
