Colonization_Disk1 for the Amiga is one of those classic strategy games where you get to relive the early days of European expansion—but with way more spreadsheets than you'd expect. You start by picking a colonial power (Spain, England, etc.), then try to build settlements, manage resources, and occasionally fend off rebellions when your colonists get fed up with your leadership.

The interface is pure old-school—lots of menus and tiny icons—but once you get the hang of it, there’s something weirdly satisfying about balancing tobacco exports while training militia units. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand; this game assumes you’re okay with trial and error (and maybe a few failed colonies).

If you’re into deep, slow-burn strategy with a historical twist, this one’s worth digging into—just make sure you’ve got patience for the learning curve.
