Corvette came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, developed by Steel Monkeys. It was part of that wave of racing games trying to capture a specific car culture feel on a handheld, back when developers were really pushing what the hardware could do with fast, sprite-based action. It didn't have the 3D of some other racers, but it had a clear focus and a lot of personality.
You control a series of classic Corvettes, steering them through point to point races across various environments. The main objective is simply to win each race, earning cash to unlock faster, more powerful models. The driving feels intentionally loose and slidey; you're constantly wrestling with the car's weight, fighting to keep it from fishtailing off the dirt tracks or into a barrier. The courses are tight and demand quick reflexes, making it a challenging but fair arcade experience. It feels like a constant, satisfying battle for control against the car itself.
