So picture this: the Blotians—sorry, the Fuzzy Wuzzies (they ditched their old name for something cooler)—crash-land on an island after their spaceship hits an asteroid. Naturally, they declare it "The Hippest Place in The Known Universe," which, of course, pisses off the local demons. Next thing you know, the demons throw a massive party, trap all the Fuzzies in a net, and drag them off to be tortured. Classic demon behavior.

Enter Clyde Radcliff, the lone survivor, who was too busy puking in the bushes to get caught. Now he’s got a killer hangover, fiery bad breath (somehow a weapon?), and a mission to save his friends. The first two stages of each level are side-scrolling chaos—Clyde blasts demons with what I can only assume is his legendary halitosis. Between levels, a witch trades upgrades for weird little "magic potion creatures" you collect. She’s helpful, but her prices are steep.

The final stage in each level is a single-screen puzzle where you’ve got to stop a demon from murdering one of Clyde’s friends with some ridiculous ACME-style death trap. It’s gory in a cartoony way—think exploding demons, not nightmares. Mess up, and you’ll watch your buddy get squished in the most over-the-top way possible. The whole thing’s weird, kinda janky, and weirdly charming. Just don’t expect deep lore.
