You control a lone soldier tasked with stopping a bioweapon threat, moving through side-scrolling levels filled with enemy soldiers, guard dogs, and automated turrets. The main objective is to fight your way to the end of each stage, using an assault rifle, grenades, and occasionally a sniper rifle for long-range picks. Signature mechanics include screen-by-screen advancement, where you clear one area before moving to the next, and environmental interaction like destroying barriers or activating switches. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can spike with crowded enemy placements or instant-death pitfalls. It feels like a tense, methodical push through hostile territory where every shot counts.
