Curious George on the Game Boy Advance came out in 2006, developed by Monkey Bar Games and published by Namco. It was one of those many licensed games that filled the portable's library, a straightforward adaptation of the animated film that didn't try to reinvent the wheel. You got what you expected: a colorful, simple platformer aimed at a younger audience, a familiar sight on the GBA during its later years.

You control George, of course, and your main goal is to gather items, like puzzle pieces or bananas, to progress through the story. The gameplay is built on light platforming and interacting with objects; you'll swing on vines, climb poles, and smash crates marked with exclamation points to find what you need. It's not a difficult game, the pacing is relaxed, and the challenge comes more from exploration than precise jumps. Playing it feels like guiding a cheerful, slightly clumsy monkey through a series of small, contained playgrounds.
