Game Overview

Cyber Cop is one of those classic Amiga games that just oozes late '80s arcade energy. You play as this hulking police robot stomping through neon-lit streets, blasting gangsters with whatever weapon you can grab—shotguns, lasers, you name it. The controls feel chunky in that satisfying retro way, like your bot’s actually got weight to it.

First level drops you right into the chaos: thugs popping out of alleys, cars exploding, and this weirdly catchy synth soundtrack pushing you forward. I remember getting wrecked by some dude with a flamethrower my first try—turns out dodging isn’t Cyber Cop’s strong suit. But when you finally clear a screen of enemies, watching their pixelated bodies ragdoll never gets old.

The graphics still hold up, all gritty cityscapes and exaggerated animations. And yeah, the box wasn’t lying about the sound effects—every punch lands with this meaty thwomp that makes you wanna crank the volume. Just don’t expect deep strategy; it’s pure run-and-gun nostalgia.
